Every year, in September, Moscow becomes a city for running! On the day of the Moscow Marathon, they close the center of the capital city (Moscow) for the runners. And thousands of people, supporters and fans go out to support and cheer up the runners. There are many ways to become part of the largest running event in Russia: become a volunteer, to support the runners on the track, run the satellite race for 10 km, or to get the spotlight and run a marathon.
Discover Moscow in a new role - finish the marathon on September 22. Preparing for this goal assumes that you have already ran a half-marathon, if not - go through one of those programs first. The Moscow Marathon is a great running dream that you can make come true already this season with the I Love Running team.

To run a half marathon, it is necessary to master the technique and develop endurance. To run a marathon, in addition, you need to: strengthen your muscles, adapt your body to different types of load, increase speed successfully, competently bring the athlete to start in better shape. Therefore, we divide the training into four stages and prepare for at least six months.
Based on the entire training cycle, the results on the events and your physical condition, the trainer will form an optimal plan for the race that will allow you to overcome the marathon with the best time for you.
We trained and prepared over 5 000 marathon finishers — more than any other endurance sports school for adults. Our graduates ran all the major world marathons: New York, Tokyo, London, Berlin, Boston, Chicago. After they have finished the marathon, we continue to prepare them for new achievements in running and other sports.
Retractable stageSumming the body to perform a large amount of work. Maximum attention is paid to the technique of running and the correct implementation of running exercises. Training is conducted to increase stamina.
Stage of mountain/hill strength trainingThe development of leg muscle strength and endurance strength. Use of running on hills both in cross running and in running on segments.
Speed-power stageGradual increase in the volume of cross-country running, conducting circuit training to maintain and develop strength. Conducting a control start to monitor the development of the student and make adjustments to the training plan.
Preparation for raceLong runs, rhythmic runs, and uphill runs. Maximum attention to stretching, S&C, and recovery.
Final eventMoscow marathon
We do all that we can so that the learning/trainings go smoothly without injuries. But rest assured that you will have someone to ask with any health problem or question.
